Skills & Certification Requirements
- Current certification as a School Psychologist
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Passion for advocating for student needs in a diverse educational environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review IEPs
- Provide direct services, including counseling and consultations, to students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective intervention strategies
- Support the creation of safe and inclusive school climates
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
